This was the 10th and last song recorded for Love + Glory. I always loved albums that start with an acoustic song and the original track line up had "This Old Car" as the leadoff song. Ray from Kool Kat had a suggestion that I not start with the acoustic song since people would think the whole album sounded like that. It was a good point but whenever I moved songs around, it felt like it was missing something and it was a 10th song. I was hoping to convey that there are more important things in life than work and money which I forget sometimes and we are never alone, you have friends you don't know yet who'll gladly give you the shirt off their back.
